Episode 113: World Triathlon Election Scandal, Rivalries, Run Blocks, and Kona on the Horizon
This week on Another Triathlon Podcast, brought to you by Mauna Apparel, Jenna-Caer, Josh, and Fede dive into the latest in the triathlon world, their own training blocks, and some major storylines shaping the sport.
From Yankees–Red Sox trash talk to dialing in marathon prep, the crew shares updates on fatigue, recovery, race goals, and the balance of speed versus endurance. With Kona just around the corner, we also look at aerodynamics, equipment choices, and what it really takes to manage training volume at the top end.
In racing news, we break down Ironman Chattanooga and the Kona slots on the line, with standout performances from Rasmus Svenningsson, Cameron Wurf, and Anna Pabinger. Plus, Paula Findlay continues her North American 70.3 dominance, and rising stars make their mark.
We also preview the final stop of the Supertri Pro Series in Toulouse, dig into the short-shoot drama, and discuss what’s at stake for teams and individuals. And in this week’s “What the F,” we shift gears into the politics of the sport with the developing World Triathlon election scandal, where allegations of bribes and threats raise serious questions about governance.
